As you all know, I love story-starter Sunday. I’m sitting at Barnes & Noble, and I just finished listening to my Steelers lose to the Vikings in London. It’s been a rough start for them this year. This is the first time since 1986 that they’ve started their season 0-4. They get better every game, and that’s all I can ask for. So I think my story-starter will be based on today’s events. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Story-Starter Sunday, it’s just a one-liner for you to begin a story. Of course, you can use it any way that you want, but it’s meant to be the first line of your story. Have fun!
Story Starter: He picked himself up from the ground, slowly and painfully, then looked his nemesis squarely in the eye.
